Dragon Ball Goku Cosplay Prompts Your Costume Fun
A real fun adventure will be full enjoyed with Dragon Ball Goku costume play. For those who are either fans of Dragon Ball series or costume devotees, Goku costume role-play must interest you especially when you want a cool and fun look with the least effort.
The appearance of Goku in Dragon Ball series is very impressive. He is seen with spiky black hair and sporting his trademark orange/red/golden and blue clothes. This character is known for his cheerful, energetic personality and his love of competition. He has remarkable intuition at seeing the good in others in spite of their actions, though his capacity for forgiving his enemies has occasionally been criticized as excessive. He uses a stick as the weapon in the battle.
When it comes to getting dressed up for the real return of Dragon Ball Goku, here comes a nice plan for your reference. Get ready to start valuing your costume endeavor.
Prepare the top: take a blue short sleeved T-shirt (blue sweat-resistant dry move shirt works well) and put it on.
Make the blue wrist bands. It is okay to either buy them online or in a local sport shop. Look for a navy or dark blue color.
Find matching orange pants, preferably baggy. Buy one size larger so as to wear it perfectly. Resew a drawstring inside the belt loop part of the pants by hiring a seamstress or through Your Own work. Orange baggy pants can be found as either orange/pumpkin scrubs or plain Gothic pants, but better remove chains/symbols alike.
Make Goku’s Kanji. Practice drawing the Kanji on a paper till you feel comfortable to take a cloth, in the same color as your pants and draw the symbol. Then, make a circle about the size of your hands touching each others fingers in a circle formation.
Make the same symbol but 4 times bigger and repeat the same pattern. Place the smaller one on the left chest and the larger one on the back.
Take an orange vest, about 2-3 sizes bigger than you, something that fills out nice and stops at mid range, cut a V-neck down to the top of the middle of the chest area and remove all embellishments. After that, add the small piece or simply sew black linen into the left side of the vest to make out the symbol better.
Find a long blue sash. A blue Karate belt will be okay. Fold the left side over the right, and then the right over the left and tie a knot.
Get Blue boots. Well, this is the hardest part possible! You can buy off the rack boots in stores if you are lucky to find them. Otherwise, buy a pair of boots to resew them to shape the same as the Goku’s shoes and paint them the blue color.
Now it is time to style the hair. Spike your hair in many directions. But the recommendation goes to a vivid wig, which would be inexpensive and easy to find online or in local stores.
The last but not the least, do research on the postures before you wear the costume to show off. This plays a big role in successfully portraying the role. After all, a great achievement on costume role-play would be not only the delicate costumes and accessories but also the inspiring vigor and mettle the same as the original fictional role, or even developing your personal style on basis of this!
