Freezing Pie…Do You Cover It?
I made a key lime margarita pie tonight and the directions said ‘freeze for 6 hours or overnight…’
My question is..do I cover it to freeze it? Or will it be okay just like that?

Sounds like the Margarita pie that I make .
Take some plastic wrap and gently stretch it across the top , but do not allow it to touch . Now if yours kinda resembles a pudding pie like the one I make . I gently press the plastic wrap to the top all the way around , then freeze . Let stand at room temperature long enough to peel off plastic wrap . This will give it a nice soft top instead of a film top .
