Comic Book Questions about Batman?
I have a couple of questions..
- Is the animated series of any Batman cartoon related to the DC Universe story?
- Did Joker really die in “Batman Beyond- Return of the Joker” or the DC comic “Dark Knight Returns”?
- Is Batman dead? I herd he was died of a stroke at like age 70 or something or that he was burned in barbecued in a deathray or blew up in helicopter crash
I like Batman but don’t read comics ^^
Batman TAS is part of the more respectable DCAU & would have been canon in it’s time, but so much has been retconned since then & so much has changed since what….Zero Hour? But hey, it’s as close as it gets. No wait! The straight-to-DVD stuff is often based directly on the comics. Take for instance “Under the Red Hood,” coming out in July. I am so getting it, it’s based off my favorite Judd Winick story.
Yup. Depending on which “edition” you get, Joker was either electrocuted or impaled durring a fight with Robin (I forget which one). My guess is the guy who wrote the script was still sour about Joker killing Jason Todd back in the 80s.
Bruce is 40. His body was destroyed by Darkseid. It’s confusing enough for people that do read the comics. Only the geeks who read a multitute of different DC titles are really leeping up. His concience was sent back in time. Many people are speculating that Oberon Sexton is Bruce with amnesia waiting for his soul to return or some shit. I’m not going to speculate on this confusing mess’ we’ll know soon since “The Return of Bruce Wayne” just started.
